Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 6 – 8 servings

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Collect the drippings from a roast of lamb. Deglaze the roasting pan with water or wine, as desired.
  2. Cut cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add drippings, deglazing liquid, cabbage & spices to a roasting pan or baking dish, tossing to combine ingredients.
  4. Spray the shiny side of a piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray, large enough to cover the baking dish.
    • Tip: If you think it needs a bit more liquid than the deglazing liquid, add some water, wine or beer, as desired.
  5. Braise in the oven for at least 30 minutes, or until soft & fork tender.
    • Note: Toss cabbage about halfway through cooking.
  6. Taste test & adjust seasonings, as desired.
  7. Serve warm.

Serve with lamb, on the side, or with another beautiful roast, whether it’s a weeknight meal, or a fabulous feast when entertaining guests.
