While sitting & working in my kitchen, I got snacky…
I saw some crackers in my cupboard and remembered my Royal Command Lavender Honey I had waiting for a perfect opportunity to burst out of that little jar with lavender fervor.
Today’s the day! I got to enjoy this honey where it was the standout with plain saltines & some softened butter…What could be better?
Check out this webisode of “What I Say About Food” here:
Herby in nature, the floral fragrance of lavender infuses this honey with a green undertone, thanks to the amazing French honey bees in France working so diligently for our tasting pleasure. This is juxtapose to the Acacia Honey from Hungary Royal Command carries in their product line as well.
This honey goes well in tea, and I suggest using it in white teas. Yum!
Not to mention, this honey is marvelous for vinaigrettes, sauces and baking alike.
I did not get this honey at my grocer, I got it online @ Qualifirst Foods.
Get out there and experiment with some different honeys from around the world.
