These Epicureal Piri Piri Chillies are actual tiny dried chillies, also referred to as African Bird’s Eye Chillies.
They contain some serious heat, so one must be conservatively cautious when using them and incorporating them into your dishes. Believe me, they are very, very hot.
The Portuguese brought these chillies to Africa, where it now grows wild & domestically, thriving in Africa’s hot climate and has become an intrinsic part of African cuisine.
