Have a look at these gloriously beautiful, crimson-colored POM Wonderful Pomegranates at Harvest Barn Country Markets.

When you cut these POM Wonderful pomegranates open, you see that they are filled with beautiful, mounds of plump seeds (or arils), that are juicy and filled with sweet goodness.

It is easy to get the seeds out of a pomegranates by cutting in half, and then with cut side down, sharply tap the sides and top of the pomegranate with a spoon, and the seeds will fall out.

Another method is to cut a circular piece out of the top of the pomegranate & peeling some of the sides off. This exposes the little chambers filled with arils that you can gently remove.
