How to Make Tangy Citrus-Ade: Victoria Day Recipes

Tangy Citrus-Ade will satisfy everyone at a Victoria Day get-together, and can be used as a mixer too.

citrusTo enjoy a backyard BBQ would be a great way to celebrate this Victoria Day and what better way than to start with a fabulous beverage.

A large pitcher of Citrus Ade, to which you can add any alcohol you prefer, will keep the adults happy, and the children will love this Ade too.

It’s possible to use bottled juices, but the result will not even be close to what you’ll get by freshly squeezing your citrus fruit.

Yield: 1 pitcher

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Big Boss Citrus Juicer - shop.cookingwithkimberly.comSqueeze the juices from the lemons, limes, oranges and discard the seeds.
    • Note: We prefer to leave the pulp in, but if you don’t like it, you can always strain the pulp out after the mixture has been made.
  2. Pour juice into a pitcher, and add in sugar, maraschino cherries & juice.
  3. Lenox Tuscany Classic Beverage Pitcher - shop.cookingwithkimberly.comStir thoroughly & add sugar. Stir again.
  4. You can add a tray of ice cubes, or just refrigerate the citrus-ade, and add ice cubes to each glass as desired.
  5. Taste test and add more sugar if needed.
  6. Allow to cool and serve with or without alcohol.
