How to Make Frozen Orange Delight Desserts:

Your guests and family will enjoy this so much, you will want to make extras.

Prep Time: 30 min
Freeze Time: 2 hrs
Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:

• 8 large navel oranges
• 5 cups frozen orange sorbet or orange sherbet
• 3 cups vanilla ice cream
• 2 cups frozen raspberries, strawberries or sliced peaches
• few drops of preferred liqueur – optional

Instructions:

1. Wash oranges and cut off a slice from the top of each orange – approximately 1/2 inch down, and set aside to use as a lid later.
2. Take off a tiny slice from the bottom of each orange so it will stand upright without sliding off the tray.
3. Hollow out the pulp from tops and bottoms.
4. Place the orange shells and lids into freezer on a tray and freeze for a couple of hrs.
5. Remove oranges from freezer and fill oranges with a combination of sherbet, ice cream, frozen fruit and liqueur.
6. Return oranges to the freezer for 2 more hrs.
7. About 20 min before serving dessert, remove oranges from freezer and replace lids on each orange at an angle.
8. Serve on a tray lined with lime or lemon leaves, if you have them, or any other non toxic leaves and include one small leaf in the top with the lid.
