Sauteed Cucumbers? Yup!
Didn’t you know that you can eat them cooked up, and they’re super tasty that way too? Sure enough…
Cucumbers can be enjoyed as a warm side dish, as opposed to the cool, raw ones we typically serve.
Serve alongside fish, seafood or chicken, and foods of a spicy nature, such as South Asian dishes, for a great combination.

Serve with: fish, seafood or chicken
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 7-8 min
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
- 1 large cucumber
- 1-2 tsp butter
- salt – to taste
- pepper – to taste
Instructions:
- In a frying pan, heat butter and sautee cucumbers on medium heat until fork tender.
- Season with salt & pepper, as desired.
If you’re looking for a bit of zip, add a dash or two dashes of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika powder.
