Cedar Sore Throat & Cold Remedy

Red Cedar TreeThis base of this remedy was suggested by one of our nature guides at Brant Conservation Area in Ontario, Canada. It works…Thanks… ~ Kimberly Edwards :D

Type: Home Remedy
Serve With: Rest & Relaxation
Prep Time: 4 min
Cook Time: 20 min

Ingredients:
cedarsorethroatcoldremedy-ingredients

Instructions:
1. Bring a medium sauce pot 3/4 full of water to a boil.

2. Simmer cedar leaves, mustard seeds and cloves in water for 15 min.

3. Pour into mug and add honey to taste.

4. Enjoy a soothed throat.

My mother had been feeling sick for a few days when she agreed to try this, and within a few hrs after after drinking this remedy…

I hope it helps you too…It’s certainly worth a try with a natural remedy!

    I made this today for Kenney, as he was coughing with a sore throat this morning.

    He drank the whole pot and I haven’t heard that cough since…

    He also seems to be feeling a lot better at this point.
