What I love about this site is that they have 3 Blogs a day – all about Christmas!
Heck, even we celebrate Christmas in July (for my Birthday), and we enjoy a good Holiday feast throughout the year too, admittedly.
What’s not to love about the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year”?
Maui, Hawaii, USA – December 24, 2015: Santa Claus arrives by outrigger canoe at Wailea Beach at the Grand Wailea
Where I’m located, we typically have a white Christmas. However, when I lived in Australia, we had the hottest season of the year at Christmastime. What did we do on Christmas there? We traveled to a little island off the Western Australian coast to surf, camp & eat seafood!
The articles you’ll find on the Schmidt Christmas Market Blog highlight the best of all worlds – whether you’re skiing, beach-going, or anywhere in between.
Check out their posts on travel, or if you’re like me, “beef up” your Christmas recipe repertoire. Yes, you can start dreaming about the next Christmas feast NOW!
What’s My Point?
New Orleans, Louisiana, USA – November 23, 2017: The famous Jackson Square is a historic park in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960, for its central role in the city’s history.
Well, there are so many ways to celebrate Christmas. It all just depends on where you are located, or what locale you’re traveling to for the Holidays.
How to Prepare for Next Christmas:
- Start a Christmas journal of the things you loved about this past Christmas, what you would do again, and what you would do differently.
- Try creating a family history of Christmases past, by acquiring the stories from family members.
- If you want to start preparations for next Christmas already, you can begin with some crafty ideas with the kids, or simply shop for select Holiday items on their website.
- Begin collecting special gifts all through the year, as they become available, or go on sale, including stocking stuffers.
- Create a family feast wish-list, from beginning to end, and including the table decor & festive music.
