You will want to check out Perfect Taste Curried Coat & Bake Mix if you enjoy tasty food that’s easy to prepare, and turns out making you look like a champion…
That’s what I want!
If you don’t know about Perfect Taste, they are an amazing line of spices, sauces & chutneys in the South Asian realm of flavors from a small gourmet company in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Created for those who love food!
Ben & Rita James are the creators of Perfect Taste, and they named their line appropriately because anything I’ve ever tried or tasted from them has been just that…Perfect!
The spices are blended so in perfect ratios to create a symphony of taste that resounds with your taste buds. Some South Asian spice mixes have one ingredient or the other overpowering the other, or you get something that is entirely too spicy, or worse yet, everything is just too strong.
Curried Chicken Thighs were on our “menu” when I first made something with this Coat & Bake Mix.
Check out this webisode of “What I Say About Food” here:
Only 2.5 tbsp per 2 lbs chicken. Shake it in a bag to coat any kind of meat, or use a bowl. “The world is your oyster…”
* Tip: Mr. James instructed me that chicken breast is not the preferred cut of chicken for South Asian cuisine, and tells me to use chicken with the bone and skin, preferably dark meat for more flavor.
This Spice Mix has stellar flavor, and the skin of my chicken thighs I baked…The SKIN, I say, is unbelievably crispy. It must be because of the soy flour. It was more crispy than any other dredging coating I’ve used that I can remember…
Perfect Taste Curried Coat & Bake Mix is both gluten-free and salt-free. That’s great. Not only does it give you more control of your salt intake, but they don’t waste your money filling their boxes with salt, that you can so easily add at home…Just their Perfect Taste flavor!
All you do is coat your chicken and bake them. Nearly set & forget. Super easy, minimal clean up & tasty results…What’s not to like?
This gourmet line is available in select stores & wineries around the Niagara Region. Check out Harvest Barn Country Markets – they carry the whole line.
Check their website for more detailed location information.
