The spices are blended so in perfect ratios to create a symphony of taste that resounds with your taste buds. Some South Asian spice mixes have one ingredient or the other overpowering the other, or you get something that is entirely too spicy, or worse yet, everything is just too strong.
Curried Chicken Thighs were on our “menu” when I first made something with this Coat & Bake Mix.

Only 2.5 tbsp per 2 lbs chicken. Shake it in a bag to coat any kind of meat, or use a bowl. “The world is your oyster…”
* Tip: Mr. James instructed me that chicken breast is not the preferred cut of chicken for South Asian cuisine, and tells me to use chicken with the bone and skin, preferably dark meat for more flavor.
This Spice Mix has stellar flavor, and the skin of my chicken thighs I baked…The SKIN, I say, is unbelievably crispy. It must be because of the soy flour. It was more crispy than any other dredging coating I’ve used that I can remember…
Perfect Taste Curried Coat & Bake Mix is both gluten-free and salt-free. That’s great. Not only does it give you more control of your salt intake, but they don’t waste your money filling their boxes with salt, that you can so easily add at home…Just their Perfect Taste flavor!
