This is what I say about Ontario Asparagus at Harvest Barn Country Markets!

Just look at this crispy asparagus looking all plump with beautiful, green tips. One of my favorite vegetables, there is nothing like fresh asparagus like this.

First, rinse the asparagus, and before you use it, just bend the stalk and it snaps off just at the point where the most tender part of the stalk begins. I’m not too sure how I will be using this particular asparagus today – perhaps I’ll grill it!
