What sounds more amazing than lavender buds? Well, to me, anyway…
I love their fragrance. Not only do you want to immerse yourself in the scent, and throw them in your clothing drawers, or in a warm bath…
…they are equally delicious to eat or infuse beverages with.

The color is a glorious hue of purple & blue divinely mixed together…they are really beautiful & are lovely as garnish on anything from appetizers through to desserts and beverages.
This is an ingredient very typical in French Cuisine. It is a key ingredient in their classique Herbs de Provence spice mix, which also includes savory, fennel, basil, thyme. Sometimes lavender leaves are used in place of the flower buds.
Lavender goes beautifully in rich red pasta sauces, as well as delicately with spring lamb, chicken or fish, all the way to giving gorgeous flavors in lemonades, and tisanes alike.
