They dubbed this restaurant as the best restaurant in Livonia, NY…
After checking out what they have to offer, I’m convinced the food must also be as stellar as what they are feeding you with their food philosophy.
First & foremost, their food is made from scratch comfort foods. They use ingredients that are seasonal & sustainable, whenever possible, and that are free from growth hormones & pesticides.
Furthermore, they use traditional means of cooking & therefore, the cooking times are not the same as other chain restaurants without the use of pre-packaged or frozen foods, and they will not use steam tables to keep pre-cooked foods warm until you order it.
In other words, they are preparing your food as the top restaurants all over the world do, but at a much lower price, and much more casual feel…In other words, suits or shorts, heels or flops, they’ll feed you!
Now, you’re thinking…”Well, that’s not so different!” aren’t you? 😉
Now, put into the mix, the act of sharing. Sharing is encouraged, and is a good way to dine economically, and even more responsibly.
If you’re not into “sharing” your server will do their utmost to be sure you get your first and “second” helpings at the same time, from the same dishes coming out.
Want some icing on this cake? Mondays are “Bring your own Bottle of Wine” Night, and the corkage fee is waived!
“Okay, but how does the food taste?” I haven’t eaten there myself, but it came highly recommended. Looking at their wide variety of items on their menu, they look & sound tasty, made from exciting, fresh ingredients that make sense in my “brain’s palate”.
It all sounds good to me…and I wish I had them around the corner in Niagara Falls.
Not open Sunday, but throughout the week from 4:30pm til either 10:30pm or 11:30pm. Reservations are encouraged, but not necessary.
If you live in or are traveling through Livonia, NY, be sure to check out Ember Woodfire Grill. I certainly will!
