Yet another cool salt has caught my attention.
Drogheria Red Hawaiian Sea Salt looks just as exciting as it sounds.
Pacific sea salt with purified alaea clay make up this gorgeous red salt that`s sure to please, as well as be a conversation piece.
The components of this salt make for it`s unique flavor profile, which is more of a “je ne sais quoi” as opposed to being able to put your finger on why the salt is different than another. You can taste the difference, but you’re not sure how to describe it.
Check out this webisode of “What I Say About Food” here:
A gorgeous finishing salt, giving a little something different in color and flavor.
Use it on foods that are reddish in color to blend in, like roasted carrots, or use it to stand out on other foods where it would stand out.
Drogheria provides you with a heavy duty spice grinder for your specialty salt, and it can break up big chunks of salt like they didn’t even exist in the first place.
Plus, the cap that comes on the grinder keeps things out, and helps keep things as fresh as possible.
I did not get this at my grocer. You can find it @:
