Well, I broke down for a Panko Chicken Salad with Chili Lime Dressing from Sobey's, and a fruit bowl. That's healthier than McD's. :)

Theme & Banner Change on Cooking With Kimberly!

Well, as many of you may have already noticed, CookingWithKimberly.com has a new look!

It is more of a magazine theme, allowing you to more easily see many of the blog posts here on the site!

You can quickly access the newest Featured post, Holiday & Event cooking, my newest Baking delight, Drink Recipes, Tips & Tricks, Side Dishes, etc. all at a glance!

* Tip: Don’t forget…The categories are still available at the top of the page, each with their own drop-down menu for even more specific searching…

Also, I’d like to give a special thanks to my cousin, Monique B., for creating my new “Cooking With Kimberly” banner on the site. You rock Monique! Thank you!

Anyway, I hope you are enjoying your new reading experience and can find things faster and easier.

“It looks way more inviting, like just a magazine. It will probably keep readers for longer, too. Good job, you know what you are doing…”

Well, thank you so much…I’m so glad you like it more!

  2. A long-time stumble friend, RavenRock, says:

“This is looking really good, Kim. Only as a matter of preference do I make the following remark: if the images are small and the text is plentiful, it doesn’t capture my full attention. I don’t know if you’d even consider making the images slightly larger. If not, don’t worry about it. That’s my silly idea. Great job you did!! :)

Hi there! Thanks so much for the great suggestion! I feel the same way…I just have a problem with the formatting sometimes with larger photos. I will do my best to keep them large…It just so happens the Featured post has no photo today…LOL!

    Kimberly :)

P.S. A Happy & Blessed New Year to you!

“Hey Kimberly…. I LOVE your new blog theme. Did you create this through WordPress? I’m trying to get a website up myself and could use all the help I can get. THANKS!!!”

You can go to WordPress.com and have your blog hosted on their service.
However, our blogs are self hosted on our own domains, but they are still WordPress platform.

Now, to get the magazine theme for your own blog, you can go to: http://www.revolutiontheme.com

…and see the “Revolution Magazine” themes there…

    Hope this helps!
