How to Cook Video: The Perfect Scrambled Eggs For Breakfast

I “stumbled upon” a video of Gordon Ramsay making the best scrambled eggs, and just had to share it with you…

I agree with his methodology, if you’re wondering…I’ve quickly outline it below.

***

Basically, you’re going to scramble the eggs in the sauce pot with butter on high heat, taking it off and back on, continuously stirring until a creamy texture.

Be creative with what you serve it with or on, such as grilled asparagus, mushrooms or tomatoes. Brioche or sourdough bread is beautiful to serve these creamy eggs on, or even a homemade bread machine recipe like my Yogurt Seed Bread.

What a beautiful breakfast to wake up to. Gordon had the right idea…breakfast in bed!

  1. Only took about 8 seconds in to the video. I never have liked tomatoes or whatever else he is throwing in to his mix to ruin perfectly cooked scrambled eggs I always cook til a little over slightly burnt.

  3. Hi Kim,

I know I need to elaborate in the short responses to your food inquiries thus far. April 9, 1983 was the date of my traumatic car accident. Four weeks from finals, 2nd semester, BRADLEY UNIVERSITY. After coming out of the coma I was in, food was not too appealing to me. Part of the ramifications of being as hard hit head injured I have since learned this was and is indeed. To call me a picky eater is very conservative at best and instead of having a short list of foods I do not like, it is much – much – MUCH the other way which honestly suits me fine as I sincerely do not know the difference anyway! πŸ˜› πŸ™‚

So, since this change in who I am, I like a fine lined very short list of foods which also makes me very easy to cook for, looking at the positive side of it all. I know I could make an effort at and of changing all this. But, you have heard the expression – cliche: ‘If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’? There is where and how I am and, as mentioned above, it suits me fine!

Now I best be back at remodeling my humbled abode with this time – day off!!!

You know why you never see two elephants in the pool at the same time? … … …

    Only one pair of trunks!!!

    Heh heh heh
