The Natural at Pizza Hut

Nylon Pizza Hut Flag (3 ft. x 5 ft.)I just caught wind of a great idea Pizza Hut has been testing on Dallas, Texas residents this summer in anticipation of releasing it the rest of the nation.

The pizza I’m speaking of is called “The Natural”.

What does that mean?

Well, Pizza Hut is trying to answer the call of people that are trying to eat healthier and more naturally.

Okay, how does that relate to pizza then?

The Natural features a multi-grain pizza crust, organic sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes and mozzarella cheese free from artificial chemicals, colors and flavors.

Toppings for The Natural are natural too, including sliced Italian Sausage, marinated Roma tomatoes and fire-roasted red peppers on the new “Rustica”…or, you can choose from among other natural toppings including pepperoni, mushrooms, pineapples, green peppers, red onions and diced tomatoes.

Well, it’s about time, right? Every little bit counts…

Very true…The Natural pizza will even be served in boxes made from up to 75% recycled material — great news for anyone looking to add some “green” to their order.

It must be expensive though, right?

A medium one-topping pizza at Pizza Hut is $9.99. The Natural Rustica pizza is $11.99.

However, it would be cheaper to get The Natural than a specialty pizza there that would usually run $14.99.

Yeah, but how does it taste?

Well, I heard that the pizza is delicious and that you can really taste the difference with the more natural, quality ingredients on The Natural!

Great idea, healthier for you, probably more tasty, and a little more green!

Thumbs up Pizza Hut…I’m getting impressed!

  1. The natural was the best-tasting delivered pizza I’ve had. The herbs are perfect.
Can’t wait to have it again.
