I’ll get right to it…
In my opinion, the Joy of Cooking: The All-Purpose Cookbook is the best cookbook on the market.
Why, you ask?
Because it teaches you how to make EVERYTHING! It has something for everyone and every ethnicity.
Even my husband likes using it!
It teaches you classical techniques, and has “old-school” recipes, and great new ones too.
Get ready to get your hands dirty in the kitchen with this bad-boy!
Whenever I have a bridal shower to go to, I always give the Joy of Cooking, along with other gifts.
This is my mother’s favorite cookbook too…This was the first cookbook she ever received in 1962, and she uses it weekly, sometimes daily, and has never had a recipe fail…from simple to fine-dining…They have never failed!!! It’s an awesome reference tool.
She says it’s the most comprehensive, easy-to-understand cookbook with fabulous results EVERY time!
The first cookbook I ever received was the Joy of Cooking from my mother! It’s the only cookbook you may ever need!

Awesome.

It’s amazing isn’t it?
Have you ever noticed the recipes that have “Cockaigne” at the end?
What I heard on a TV show is that the family created this word to add to their favorite recipes or ones from their family…
Neat, huh?
