It’s National Mocha Day, but many of us celebrate all the time!
Mocha is the flavor combination attained when good espresso coffee, bitter chocolate and sugar are married with butter.
This is delicious served with chocolate mousse.
The mocha mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for as long as 2 weeks, and can be thinned out with hot water, if desired or necessary.
Mocha can also be added to regular coffee and cream to give you a decadent, delicious drink.
Another use for the above described mocha mixture, is to drizzle it on chocolate cheesecake to bring a delightful complexity to the cake. Vanilla cheesecake can be treated the same way to yield and equally delicious result.
Hot chocolate drinks also benefit from the addition of this coffee flavor…Yummy!
Now, add some Kahlua, a chocolate coffee flavored liqueur, and you have an adult treat.
