This is my very first shot of an Irish Car Bomb complete with Guinness Beer, Jameson Whisky and Bailey’s Irish Cream in a snazzy combination…
Check out the video and then, I’ll explain everything!
…Bottoms Up!
Video by Jessica Saucedo, Narrative by Marisa Barker & Jessica Saucedo, and shot drank by me, Kimberly Edwards
LOL
Of course, all of the ingredients in this shot are Irish! It’s called a car bomb because you actually drop a shot glass of Bailey’s Irish Cream and Jameson Whiskey into a glass of Guinness Beer. Then, you drink the whole lot!
Try it, it’s really not that scary and it doesn’t taste as bad as it sounds!

I hope you enjoyed this Alcoholic Beverage post on Cooking With Kimberly! Until next time…

P.S. Check out these awesome and functional set of shot glasses! You can also use them for Espresso because they’re double walled – Fabulous:

Ah Kimberly,
That looks like a total sin – can’t wait to try it on some of the local farmers round our way!
Mick.
This drink glorifies indiscriminate murder on the streets of Britain and Ireland. Would you name a drink after terrorists who have killed Americans? How about the “9/11 Plane Bomb”? It’s tasteless and offensive, isn’t it?
Hi Dubliner,
Thanks for your input – I had no idea of the history behind the name. All I knew is it was made with 3 different Irish liquors and you drop the shot glass into the beer glass…that’s it…
I guess it’s tasteless if you actually know about why they call it this…however, I’ve never heard that story before…
Kimberly
I hope you enjoy the taste…
I thought it was going to be something that tasted horrible because the name of it doesn’t sound tasty…
However, it was quite nice and has a great aftertaste, because the Bailey’s seems to linger until the end of the drink.
Let me know how you enjoy it.
Kimberly
