I have never actually had matzo ball soup before today! It’s a Jewish dish that is traditionally eaten at Passover…
My mother had a box Manischewitz Matzo Ball Soup Mix in her cupboard, and being that she’s been under the weather for a while, I thought I’d try my hand at making it for us.
The instructions were simple, needing only 2 eggs and 2 tbsp oil to add to the matzo ball mix.
You mix it with a fork and put it in the fridge for 15 min.
Secondly, you heat water with the soup mix packet.
After 15 min, the water should be boiling and the matzo balls are ready to be formed into balls with wet hands.
You cover and simmer for 20 min and voilĂ , Matzo Ball Soup!
I don’t have a measuring stick to compare any other matzo ball soup, but this was rather delightful. The broth flavor was actually really tasty and the matzo balls…I really liked them!
All-in-all, I find this to be a good product that’s easy to make and tastes great too…Get some for yourself!

I hate it when that happens, Fran!!!
