So, usually, I love how Olive Garden makes their calamari, but the last 2 times I had it, I felt that the batter was somewhat different.
Also, I think they have changed their creamy aioli-type sauce…it tastes more parmesany or something…I’m not as crazy about this appetizer as I was before…
My husband wasn’t too sure if the recipe had changed or not, and he quite enjoyed the calamari still.
What are your thoughts on the Calamari at the Olive Garden? Is it just me or has the recipe changed?

I think Olive Garden has changed a lot when it comes to quality and flavor. Yes, I agree…their calamari doesn’t taste the same and neither does the sauce.
As long as they keep their breadsticks, alfredo sauce, zuppa Tuscana and their salad the same, we’ll all be alright!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks so Ingrid!
That’s my favorite meal there too! LOL…Soup, salad, breadsticks with alfredo! Awesome!

We were just at the Olive Garden. Hadn’t been there for quite a while. I really loved their Zuppa Toscana so what a disappointment it was today. It didn’t taste the same as it had before. The bread sticks didn’t seem like the same quality either. Not a happy camper.
I know it, Linda! That’s my favorite soup too…
I agree – their quality has been really lacking as of late. It’s unfortunate…People would be glad to come and pay the money for the quality of food they used to present!

Olive Garden’s calamari is not as good as it was. The crispness is gone. Now just a wet noodle.
Agreed! Kimberly
