Stewed Prunes are an old, classic fruit stew, and most think it to be for “old people,” but the fact remains, it’s tasty!

pruneYes, it’s a known fact that prunes, well, make you regular, if you catch my drift. However, they are chock full of vitamins, minerals & even protein.

A healthy snack that’s ever-so-tasty made this way…stewed.

How to Cook Stewed Prunes:

We are quite fond of stewed prunes in our house, and numerous versions of them too. My basic recipe follows.
