Happy New Year 2009!
I just wanted to wish each and every one of you a Happy and Blessed New Year!
I also want to thank you all for such amazing encouragement, interaction and great friendships I have forged through this site!
As I had mentioned a few blog posts back, we had some amazing seafood for dinner last night!
As usual, our eyes were bigger than our tummies, but we were smart and made our feast as we felt like eating more.
We had smoked oysters with organic extra old cheddar and crackers, fabulous escargot and mushrooms in garlic butter, and boiled lobster until we couldn’t eat anymore!
We had shrimp and King crab legs on standby, but never got that far!
Of course, we enjoyed our evening with some alcoholic beverages…Gold Passion Alize to start things off with and Butterscotch Liqueur, as well as Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante at midnight and some fabulous Niagara Region Icewine for dessert – 2007 Lakeview Cellars Vidal Icewine – that I can’t wait to tell you all about in another post.
Also, on New Year’s Day, today, my husband’s family tradition is to make a huge seafood gumbo, which I will hold true to today! Yum! I’m about to get started within the hour! It will be amazing!
For this New Year, I will be posting some awesome & healthy recipes in coming very soon!
God Bless and Here’s to a Great New Year!

I hope you have a fabulous start to the New Year! Until next time…
Eat Deliciously,
Kimberly Edwards 🙂
