In September of this year, I had the splendid opportunity of going to Cancun with one of my best friends, Kate Hoekstra.
We stayed at an all-inclusive and hopped around to different hotels to eat, but we were left wanton for some real, authentic food…anything that actually tasted good…
…So, one night, we decided to take a taxi into the city to a restaurant people were recommending called La Parilla. We wanted great margaritas, seafood and authentic Mexican cuisine, and that’s exactly what we got!
Below, check out one of their house specialties made table-side by Memito of La Parilla in Cancun, Mexico, Flambeed Lobster with Diablo Sauce, which was to die for…exactly what I wanted to eat…Check out the video below of Memito preparing this delicacy for me.
Want to know what I thought about this dish? Here’s my taped reaction to my taste test:
Now, Kate doesn’t care for seafood. So, she decided to get some real, authentic Mexican fare. Check out what she ate & how she liked it:
Personally, when I go on vacation, I consider 3 things:
When & where was your last culinary adventure? Isn’t it time you stole away for a culinary adventure somewhere exotic?
Until next time,
Eat Deliciously!
