Don’t Forget the Milk – Awesome Organizing Tool

holsteindairycowHow many times have you gone to the grocery store, came home and realized that you forgot the milk!

I know this has happened to everyone in some way, shape or form with some ingredient or food stuff.

NEVER again!

Sign up for a free account with RememberTheMilk.com, and get a personalized tool for grocery lists and to-do lists alike!

You can merge it with family members’ cell phones or PDAs and upload the application to their phone, so they can get up-to-the-minute updates, even if they’ve already left for the store or their day of shopping.

When you remember an item, simply add it online and they are notifiied of updates.

I know there are so many times, in fact 2 days ago, where I wasn’t sure if I added dish soap to the grocery list. Of course, when Kenney got home…no dish soap.

I could have gone online, added the necessary items, instead of relaying them to him and him trying to remember or not being able to hear me in a loud store, and voilà, they are added to the list and he is notified immediately.

Okay, you’re thinking, why not just “call them” on the phone. Again, as I said earlier, I don’t know how many times I’ve called and they couldn’t hear me in a loud store or the phone ringing. Annoying!

Also, I often remember more than one thing. If they’re busy in the store or not all the way paying attention, they’re likely to forget everything you need.

Plus, with phone costs the way they are today, it’s often easier for them to receive a message too! And, it saves you time…Just pop back onto the computer and add them…You don’t need to interrupt what you’re doing and get on the phone.

But, with this function, they’re guaranteed to access that grocery list already uploaded to their phone and in turn, receive any pertinent additions.

That is way too cool, in my opinion! It’s worth a try, if not just for the organization of to-do lists and grocery lists in one spot!
