As foodies around the world evolve together, traditional home chefs are making moves to enjoy food to the fullest.
I’ve seen some pretty awesome kitchen modifications in homes all around the world to ensure the availability or quality of some favorite food of the owners.
For instance, I’m sure you’ve seen homes where beer taps are installed, or cool commercial looking refrigerators and gas stoves, specialty baking ovens, and Salamander broilers.
People are serious about their food.
Ever wish you had one of those awesome commercial frozen yogurt or ice cream machines you see at various fast food places and restaurants?
I mean, not necessarily for the same stuff you get in those locations, but to make your own amazing, dreamy, creamy delight to ooze out perfectly into beautiful cups for all to enjoy…
…Yeah, well those are things I think about. 😉
Perfectly shaped, smooth textured, and gorgeous in a cone or a sundae bowl. My favorite ice cream treat is a banana split…Ugh, don’t get me started!
I prelude what I’m about to say with “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” Okay, that being said…Those gorgeous commercial frozen yogurt and ice cream machines – maquinas para helado – are certainly on my wishlist.
I can only imagine the icy delights I could create in there. Oh my…and not just Dessert recipes, if you can believe it!
Imagine some savory, creamy, cold creamy deliciousness with gorgeous herbs mixed in like cilantro, maybe roasted garlic, or lavender for a special summertime surprise hors d’oeuvres or amuse bouche. Possibly a lovely addition to a great Spanish Gazpacho recipe.
I’ve got my mind swirling. Gosh, I wish I had one of those ice cream machines…
Trouble is, I tried using my brand new, little ice cream maker the other day that, and it didn’t even work. The ice cream maker never got the ice cream cold, all instructions followed.
I wonder what my Strawberry Buttermilk Ice Cream would have been like out of one of these machines last week for my birthday.
Plus, it keeps the ice cream cold and ready for whenever you are in need of a quick treat! Nice…
