How to Cook Brown Rice with Crimini Mushrooms
I love brown rice and the fact that it’s healthy for us, but it can be bland if you don’t know how to ‘doctor’ it up! So, I love to add interesting and flavorful ingredients to kick up the flavor! This is a great recipe!
* Tip: To make this a complete meal in itself, add either tofu or some fabulous cooked beans to make it a complete protein!!! Awesome!

Type: Side Dish
Serve With: Coconut Garlic Clementine Tilapia
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: ~ 30 min in a rice cooker
Yield: 4 1/2 cups
Nutrition Facts:

Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Rinse brown rice under cold water.
2. Add all ingredients to rice cooker and turn on.
3. In approximately 30 minutes, fluff with a fork.
4. Serve with a great main dish of meat or fish, such as Coconut Garlic Clementine Tilapia.
5. Enjoy!

This is a very delicious way to make brown rice. Since this type of rice has a distinct, stronger flavor than white rice, flavors need to be able to stand up to it to be tasted.
