I had the opportunity to try Land Shark Lager yesterday, which is apparently affiliated with Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville” brand.

On the bottle, it says it’s “Original Island Lager” – and after you take one sip of it, you’ll understand why.

It’s a light lager that tastes similar to a combination between a Corona with lime and a Bud Light with a twist of orange.

It’s light, slightly sweet and flavorful! Absolutely delicious – you can almost hear the waves on the sand and smell that clean, ocean air. What a great beer to pack in a cooler and head down to the lake or enjoy pool-side.

This is one of my new favorite beers. I wonder how great it would be to cook with – hmmm…

Much thanks to our friend, Kent!

Best beer I’ve ever had! Period………Including what we get here in Canada.
    Wish it were available here.

It’s awesome, isn’t it, G.? Although we do get some great beers, especially micro-brews in Canada, this beer is sooo tasty!
