Smoking Destroys Your Taste Buds – Taste & Smell

cigarette-pdIf you love food and you smoke, and you then quit smoking…

Smoking & Food just DON’T go together!

Food would taste even more phenomenal to you…

Did you know that smoking not only deadens the taste buds, as well as the nasalepithelial cells that regulate your smell?

In fact, nicotine can irritate those little taste buds and make it more uncomfortable to eat, as would a hot chili on the tongue, but to a lesser degree.

This means that you won’t be as hungry because you can’t smell the deliciousness in the kitchen, but when you do eat, you can’t taste it  nearly as well! It’s not even close to being as enjoyable as it could be!

Smoking and nicotine make food less pleasing to taste…Also, nicotine has the power to suppress the nerve activity in the brain that controls your taste functions.

I say all of this to plead with you Quit Smoking Now

When you do, your taste buds and smelling senses will be re-activated!

You’ll discover a whole new world of food, taste and scent that you’ve been missing out on for so very long.

Some of you may even remember your childhood and how wonderful things tasted back then…It’s true!

Your senses were so much more acute and unadulterated.

Plus, as everyone knows and understands, smoking causes Cancer! Live to spend time sharing with your family and friends at the dinner table for many years to come! What I wouldn’t give to spend one more dinner with my Father!

The best thing happened in Canada when smoking was banned from ALL public buildings! That’s right!

That means no more smoking sections of restaurants – the grossest thing EVER to non-smokers! No more smoking in bars, clubs or pubs…

In fact, the hospitals ban a large perimeter around hospital grounds liable to a fine if you do it!

What a blessing! I hope America follows suit QUICKLY!

I hope this sparks you into a love affair with your food again!
