How to Make Millionaire Pie

Millionaire Pie is a staple at our family gatherings down South in Texas, Aunt Darlene’s specialty, to be exact.

We call it Millionaire Pie because it’s sooo rich! It is one of the most delicious things you’ve ever tasted in your life! Believe me, there’s NEVER any left, so you may want to make two of them and hide one!

How to Make Millionaire Pie:

This pie is green because it’s such a rich pie, plus it’s a great color to use for Christmas.

Type: Pie Recipe

Serve With: an amazing Holiday feast
Prep Time: 17 min
Cook Time: 4 – 5 min – if making your own Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Yield: one 9 inch pie

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. KitchenAid Artisan Series Stand Mixer in Metallic Chrome - shop.cookingwithkimberly.comCream together the creamed cheese, food coloring and icing sugar for 3-4 minutes on high speed with an electric mixer.
  2. Stir the pineapple with juice, coconut and nuts in until combined evenly.
  3. Gently fold in 1 cup of the whipped cream until mixed evenly.
  4. Fill the graham cracker pie shell, and level filling.
  5. Top with remaining whipped cream and sprinkle with extra chopped pecans or toasted coconut, if desired.
  6. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Aunt Darlene would be proud with this version of her Millionaire Pie, whether it’s Thanksgiving or Christmas!

  1. This year, I omitted the pecans.

    Also, someone had used a large chunk of our Philadelphia creamed cheese, so in looking, we had a container of the pineapple flavor Philly!

    It worked wonderfully in replacement of the regular, original Philly…
