As many of you know, I’m not a person that eats sweets often…I’m more of a pasta and potato-craver myself…LOL

However, if there’s something sweet around that’s worth those calories, I’m happy to enjoy it!

Just is the case with the Central Market Organics Chocolate Truffles imported from France.

They are actually USDA organic, but that’s not what makes them awesome…

I don’t understand why truffles are typically only seen during the Holidays…they’re often not readily available. They should be!

That’s really the name of this “Remarkably full bodied” wine from Thierry & Guy.

Here’s the story from the back of the bottle:

“Good friends, Thierry (renowned French winemaker) & Guy (British wine industry rebel) created FAT bastard almost by accident.

It started out as an experiment Thierry had been doing in the back of his cellar, leaving a barrel “on the lees” (yeast cells). He didn’t know what to expet, but when the friends tried the wine Thierry exclimed…

“Now zat iz what you call eh PHET bast-ard!” (read with a strong French accent)

This very British expression perfectly described the wine’s wonderful color and ROUND, rich palate so that’s what they called it.”

Need to eat a “little bit healthy” during and between the holidays? This is one delicious, Tex-Mex soup that will have you feeling warm all over!

This recipe may use a bunch of ingredients and takes two hours, but it is sooooo worth it…believe me!

My husband is a track & field decathlete, and always needs low-cal, low-fat alternatives for meals. Now, he is a Southern man through-and-through and loves his soul food, so this is a great negotiation of flavor and healthy eating! Enjoy!
