Kurious & Knosey

There are times (yes, believe it or not) when my dogs have breath that’s, well, not that fresh. These are tasty, healthy and will freshen their breath too.

Plus, you’ll know exactly what went into them to ease your mind that your dogs are eating real food that’s good for them.

I love my dogs so much and I’m always baking them special, little treats. You should see their faces light up – they just know that what I’m doing is for them. So cute!

Just Honest Popcorn from the Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company Review

October 8, 2009 by Kimberly · Leave a Comment

We travel a lot and we often drive. So, that means stopping at rest areas and gas stations where we often grab a few snacks and drinks.

Caramel Coated Popcorn - 10 Lb Caramel Coated Popcorn: GRThis past week, my hubby and I chose a couple bags of popcorn, Just Honest Caramel Popcorn and Just Honest Butter Popcorn from the Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company.

My choice, the caramel flavor, was really fabulous! Seriously, it tasted just like homemade caramel corn.

The butter flavor, tasted like butter, but not exactly like real butter. However, it was quite delicious too.

Just Honest Popcorn is hot-air popped and made with real ingredients for a great taste.

Their new bags are made to Read more

Peppered Natural Buffalo Jerky from Jerky Direct Review

Peppered Natural Buffalo Jerky from Jerky Direct

Peppered Natural Buffalo Jerky from Jerky Direct

I often try different brands of jerky so I can find the varieties and flavors I like the best because not all jerkies are created alike.

I tried this Peppered flavor Natural Buffalo Jerky from Jerky Direct and I think it’s, honestly, my new favorite jerky.

I’ve never been crazy about “moist” jerky – it just seems odd to me. I enjoy a good “chew” with my dried jerky.

This jerky is slightly moist, but gives me that chew I prefer.

The “Peppered” variety is simply flavored with a serious hickory smoked and black pepper kick – but with nuances of soy sauce.

The best part about this jerky is that it’s all natural, made from ranch raised Buffalo with no added hormones, no antibiotics, no preservatives, no added MSG and no Read more

Wallaby Organic Low Fat Vanilla Yogurt Review

August 11, 2009 by Kimberly · Leave a Comment

Yogurt Powder, Non-Fat 1 lb: KHave you tried Wallaby brand yogurt?

We did and we were so glad we did! Truly…

This Creamy Australian Style Yogurt was delightful in Vanilla.

It wasn’t like many low fat yogurts that seem to be runny or skimp on flavor.

It was rich and creamy in texture, as promised.

The way they come up with this flavor and texture is by their small batch cooking process, which also includes long culturing and gentle handling.

The result is a very Read more

New York Flatbreads – Pumpernickel Everything Review

May 11, 2009 by Kimberly · Leave a Comment

I’ve had a few of the flavors from New York Flatbreads before, which are numerous, like Sesame Seed…

I love them. I think they’re very versatile for dips, oysters, chutneys, cheese…the possibilities are endless…LOL

However, I have heard from a few people they think the flatbreads are bland…unexciting…too dry!

The Pumpernickel Everything flavor will knock your socks off, even the skeptics!

I regularly enjoy “everything” bagels and the like, and these flatbreads (or long, crispy crackers for those of you who haven’t seen them before), are no exception.

They’ve got sesame seeds, poppy seeds and Read more

Well, if you’re a football fan, I know you must LOVE tailgating too…

Now, tailgating doesn’t just mean those of us out at the football stadium, camping out to enjoy amazing food…

Oooh, Ahhh – Organic Chocolate Truffles

November 30, 2008 by Kimberly · Leave a Comment

As many of you know, I’m not a person that eats sweets often…I’m more of a pasta and potato-craver myself…LOL

However, if there’s something sweet around that’s worth those calories, I’m happy to enjoy it!

Just is the case with the Central Market Organics Chocolate Truffles imported from France.

They are actually USDA organic, but that’s not what makes them awesome…

I don’t understand why truffles are typically only seen during the Holidays…they’re often not readily available. They should be!

Why?
It’s the Read more
